That means a properly primed substrate, a 100% solids epoxy base thick enough to resist point-loading from rack posts and wheel traffic, and a topcoat selected for the specific mix of forklift type, chemical exposure, and traffic pattern your facility runs.
For most warehouse and distribution floors we install a high-build, 100% solids epoxy primer/base coat to fill profile and build film thickness, then a polyaspartic or aliphatic polyurethane topcoat for UV stability, abrasion resistance, and fast return-to-service. Where forklift traffic is heavy or aisles see constant turning, we broadcast aluminum oxide or silica into the base coat for added wear resistance before topcoating. Line striping for racking aisles, pedestrian walkways, and staging zones is included as part of the install, not billed as a separate change order.
